King Athelstan was the first king who ruled the whole of England in 927.
As a young Prince, Athelstan often hunted in the Forest of Dean and this is my idea of what he may have seemed like over a thousand years ago.
Although I hope he isnt still roaming for his sake, I`m sure he is at peace now.
