Fifteen minutes of fame
Acrylic on canvas 20cm x 38cm
It was Andy Warhol in the sixties who was noted to have said that “In the future everybody will be world famous for fifteen minutes.”
His prediction seems to have gone this way with TV reality shows and YouTube.
Not to discredit some You Tubers, as some of them are very good at what they do, and their fame lasts longer than fifteen minutes.
It just seems that its not that difficult for a lot of people to become famous even if only for a brief while, especially with all the technology we have at our fingertips. Acrylic on canvas 38cm x 20cm
