Its heartbreaking how many people are trying to seek refuge from the country they loved because of war.
I have always loved the poem “Into my heart, an air that kills” by AE Houseman and put in the last two lines of that poem in this painting as I think it reflects the feeling of anyone who is fond of their country but its dangerous to continue living there.
