This is a very quick sketch so not the best drawing I`ve done. Its based on an old painting of King Athelstan presenting a book to St. Cuthbert which I drew quickly from memory.
It makes me chuckle a bit as I think in the original, St. Cuthbert is holding up his hand perhaps to bless Athelstan, but in my sketch here, it looks as though St. Cuthbert is excited to be getting a present, and holding his hands up in glee.
