Planning for times ahead,

In case none of us are dead

When is enough, enough

Is there a future there

Are things worth planning for

Will quality of life be worth living for

Then life goes on everywhere

Just possibly without the human form

We’ve done it to ourselves,

The greed the want the wars

Ownership and conquering

And not realise that’s the cause

Of our suffering and destruction

Finding beauty where we can

The stars above us shine bright

And without us it will still carry on

A child will look at the clouds

And see beauty in the clouds they see

What happens to that child

To not want to have sympathy

To think that compassion is weak

And to think some lives less worthy than power

Power that can destroy the heart

Power over people!

Power over love etc.. etc… etc..

Fill in the blank…….

The greed, poem by AnneMarie Foley
The greed

A summer in Wales

A summer in Wales

Out in the garden

Sitting in the shade

Summer weather has been so hot

Haven`t rained for days

The fields all around us

Are parched, brown and calling out for relief

Good to have a summer

But we ain`t used to this

Summer weather has been so hot

It hasn`t rained for days

You probably wouldn’t believe me

If I told you this is Wales

I never thought I`ll say this

But hope we get some rain

The fields are crying out for it

So they can be green again.

Recent poem of mine

Life in the body of humans

Humans are a mess

Think someone or

Something,. …will save them

But they can’t

They meet some one who

Think they are the one for them,

But they arn`t

Ah,…. that beautiful comfortable

Fuck up mess

Seems` so familiar,

(we know where we are with that)

Then we leave this earth and then where do we go?

That s the question my brother asked 33 years ago,

I wonder where we go?

He left nearly 16 years ago,…

I know he`s fine
